Responding to more and more frequent requests from our guests for gluten-free desserts, Chef Ken has come up with a sinfully-delicious and guilt-free treat at Huggo’sWarm Chocolate/Black Bean Budino (a souffle-like pudding) topped with Macadamia Nut Ice Cream and Carmel Toffee Sauce! Expect to find more gluten-free selections over the coming months. United We Stand!

Spectacular desserts will provide a sweet finale at the Hawaii Island United Way charity event.

One of Hawaii Island’s longest-running charity events takes place at the Mauna Lani Hotel & Bungalows this weekend and Huggo’s will be there to support it along with more that 20 local restaurateurs and chefs!

Opera On The Rocks with the Hawaii Performing Arts Festival

July 2, 2012 The Hawaii Performing Arts Festival presented Opera On The Rocks at Huggo’s.  The Hawaii Performing Arts Festival nonprofit educational and performance organization devoted to excellence in the art of classical music.  The Festival produces a series of extraordinary concerts to entertain and educate the people of Hawaii.

Huggo’s was happy to host this special concert.  This sold out event was an informal gathering of song and drink in a beautiful setting on Kona Bay.  As many as 60 tickets were sold and the entire main bar lounge & dining tables were packed with opera enthusiasts.
