Responding to more and more frequent requests from our guests for gluten-free desserts, Chef Ken has come up with a sinfully-delicious and guilt-free treat at Huggo’s: Warm Chocolate/Black Bean Budino (a souffle-like pudding) topped with Macadamia Nut Ice Cream and Carmel Toffee Sauce! On Sunday, the action shifts next door to our sister restaurant On the Rocks. Live music begins at 5 p.m. and at 7 p.m., the first set of winners in our 2012 photo contest will be announced and awards presented. No worries — it’s not too late to enter to win the year-end grand prize (two nights and most meals at our newly opened Lava Lava Beach Club at Waikoloa Beach Resort). Participants may enter weekly; the first place winner and runner up are announced monthly and then are automatically entered to win one of two grand prizes to be awarded in early January 2013. The year end runner up wins a one night stay at Lava Lava Beach Club, one night at the Royal Kona Resort in Kailua-Kona, and most meals.
