Recipe: Banana Nut Muffins

We recently introduced breakfast at our Kailua-Kona location and have had great feedback from our customers! We wanted to share a recipe for one of the fan-favorites – the Banana Nut Muffins!

Join us for a special three course New Year’s Eve Menu at Huggoʻs in Kailua-Kona! Weʻll also have our regular menu available with special New Yearʻs fun starting after 9:00PM* ($15 Cover Charge applies)! We will not have breakfast that day and will open for our first seating at 5:00PM thru 1:00AM!

A Salute to Nakies Constantinou- General Manager

Having recently celebrated his first anniversary as General Manager at Huggo’s, we sat for a chat with Nakies Constatinou to review the past year after serving 7 years as Dining Room Manager at Huggo’s on Kailua-Kona’s waterfront. A native of the island of Cypress in the Mediterranean, Nakies moved to Hawaii Island in 2009.

Nicolette Palacol out-foxed a 780-pound blue marlin to claim the overall win for Team Foxy Lady in the annual tournament held in the waters off Hawai’i Island’s Kona Coast on Saturday, July 30. She shared the victory with teammates Saige Padilla and Natasha Manasas from Team Foxy Lady!

It is almost that time of year again. The 21st Annual Huggoʻs Wahine Fishing Tournament is scheduled for Saturday, July 30th! The theme this year is Wild, Wild, West! This all weekend event combines a day on the water, camaraderie for women, charity, and celebration among mothers, daughters, and friends.
