Attention Ironman “groupies” — want to spot your favorite 2011 competitors? You many want to hang outside Huggo’s restaurant the next couple of mornings. The popular “Breakfast with Bob” talk show is being hosted there every morning this week — when the interviews are pau, you’ll see some of this year’s (and past years) champions emerging mauka-side from about 9:30 on. Don’t forget your camera! Sighted this morning, among others, were-two time Olympic gold medalist Simon Whitfield (Canadian) who took home gold in 2000 and silver in 2008 in the triathlon event, and fellow elite triathlete Tom Lowe. All that celebrity watching is sure to work up your appetite so check in next door at Huggo’s Rocks for an ono lunch…so convenient, so delish!
