When HGTVʻs Hawaii Life producers knocked on the door asking if Huggo’s would consider hosting potential Kona home-buyers while they discuss which home to purchase, the answer was, of course, e komo mai (welcome, come belong)!
April shooting in the restaurant was an exciting time. The homebuyers and agent used the beautiful backdrop of Huggo’s looking out towards Kailua Bay. After a fun day of shooting, the cast and crew enjoyed lunch at On the Rocks, located right next door in the heart of Kailua-Kona!

We dined at Huggo’s on trips to the Big Island in 2000 and in 2014, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We missed seeing the October 19 episode – will it be repeated?
Thatʻs a great question Don, weʻll look in to it and let you know ASAP!
