Mahalo to more than 300 anglers who participated in Huggo’s 17th Annual Wahine Fishing Tournament on Saturday, helping us to raise $10,000 for Family Support Services of Hawaii.
We’re delighted with the turn-out, the great sportsmanship and competitive fun — all for a great cause. More than 75 boats were in action this year with a total of 24 marlin hooked. Team Congo My Bongos clinched first place with it’s 401-pound marlin brought in by angler Libby Snider with her team mates Alana Adams, Jackie Trask and Taylar Terrazaz, and with Captain Trevor Child and Crew Nick Atkins. Congratulations team Congo My Bongos and to all of this year’s participants!
See you same time, same place next year!
