On the Rocks (our sister restaurant just next door) Manager Timothy Criswell is leading the charge in putting together a team for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life — “Huggo’s for A Cure”! The team will be comprised of employees and friends of Huggo’s, On the Rocks and Lava Lava Beach Club. This year, the global annual event’s Kailua-Kona-Kona Relay is set for Saturday, July 13 at 6 p.m. at Old Airport Park.
Of his commitment and Huggo’s support, Tim says:
“Almost all of us have been touched by cancer in some way, so we’ve decided to make a difference by walking and raising money in the American Cancer Society Relay For Life event.
At the event, our team will camp out overnight and take turns walking around the track to raise money and awareness to help the American Cancer Society in the world’s largest fight for more birthdays.
Our team is doing our part to make sure that cancer never steals another year of anyone’s life. Please join our team or make a donation, because saving lives from cancer starts one team, one participant and one dollar at a time.”
