Long-time Huggo’s staff member, Sous Chef Carlos Nava, develops a number of mouth-watering specials for diners at both Huggo’s and our sister restaurant On the Rocks right next door, in the heart of Kailua-Kona. Working closely with Corporate Chef, Ken Schloss, Carlos creates taste sensations to delight diners and keep them coming back again and again.
Featured in the photo here is our server Marley with tonight’s Huggo’s special: Herb-marinated Monchong in a Veracruz Tomato Sauce with Bell Peppers, Onions and Olives served with Black Forbidden Rice and Grilled Hawaii Island Asparagus.
