Huggo’s Supported the 2012 Taste of Life Benefit

August 25, 2012, Huggo’s and Lava Lava Beach Club supported the annual Taste of Life Benefit for the Hawaii Island HIV/AIDS Foundation and Big Island Community at the Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort in Kona.

Chef Ken from Huggo’s Restaurant was there serving up Togarashi Crusted Mahi-Mahi and Rock Shrimp Ceviche Verde.  Lava Lava Beach Club was also there serving up “Hook, Lime, and Sinker” a chili lime catch of the day with a s’more dessert.

This annual fundraiser features dinner, drinks, dancing, & a silent auction to benefit the Hawaii Island HIV/AIDS Foundation and the Big Island community.  The Huggo’s family was proud to be there to help support this worthy organization.

All of the proceeds from the event benefit those in our community affected by HIV/AIDS as well as funding prevention efforts through testing and education. The Hawai’i Island HIV/AIDS Foundation is the only AIDS service organization on the Big Island. For more info on the foundation visit www.hihaf.org.
