October 11, 2012, Thursday of Ironman Week always starts out with one of our all-time favorite events — the wacky & fun “Tighty Whitey Race”! And this morning was no different, more than 1,000 turned out in all forms of underwear to spoof the sparse attire of tri-athletes — initially, primarily European participants whose speedo clad bodies were seen all about town, not only training on the course. We were there to see it all…and we do mean all…and snap a few shots in case you missed it.
Countdown is on…just two days to race day! All of us at Huggo’s wish all participants a safe and successful 2012 Ironman World Championship here on Hawaii Island!
