Kudos Chef Ken!
The multi-talented chef Ken Schloss joined our Huggo’s ohana in 2011 as Executive Chef, bringing more than 20 years of experience to the post. His amazing culinary talent, team building management style, constant menu innovations — not to mention a smile so bright it lights up the dining room as he warmly greets returning diners — have earned him the new role as Corporate Chef for Huggo’s and On the Rocks in Kailua-Kona and Lava Lava Beach Club on A-Bay at Waikoloa Beach Resort.
Born and raised in one of the world’s temples of great cuisine — Napa Valley – Ken worked the stoves at various restauarnts in that location before opening his own place in the City of Napa. He also took five years and explored the cuisine of the Caribbean, gathering new ideas of parallel tropical latitude culinary inspirations.
