Girl Scouts Dessert Huggos
We are excited to announce a new dessert available for a limtied time at Huggoʻs!

In conjunction with the Girl Scouts of Americaʻs National Girl Scout Cookie Weekend, we will be serving a Thin Mint Chocolate Mousse Pie made with, of course, Thin Mints, the #1 favorite of Girl Scout cookies!! The best part about it (besides how delisioucs it is) is that we will also be donating $1 to the Girl Scouts of Hawaii for EVERY piece sold!

The promotion will begin on February 28th and run through the month of March and will include our sister restaurant, Lava Lava Beach Club, who will be featuring a play on their infamous Goodie Jar dessert made with Girl Scout Samoas!

Through the program, girls learn 5 skills: goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills and business ethics. Girls are encouraged to set a goal for cookie sales, lay out their plan to achieve that goal, and determine how the proceeds they will earn from cookie sales will be used. Our Big Island girls have used cookie proceeds to support the Food Bank, the Hawaii Island Humane Society, hospice services and military personnel stationed overseas.

Girl Scouts across the state will be selling cookies starting March 6th. Booths are usually located in front of neighborhood retailers, like KTA Superstores and SackNSave. There is an app that people can download to find locations and dates of booths in their neighborhood. This app is great because it will notify you if youʻre near one of the locations! Check it out here: http://cookielocator.littlebrownie.com/

The money that we will be donating will go towards supporting the Girl Scout program across the state. Girl Scouts of Hawaii supports about 5000 girl and adult members. Their mission is to develop girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place.

Here on the Big Island there are currently 25 troops from North Kohala to Ocean View, from Puna to Kona. Anyone interested in getting involved in Girl Scouts is encouraged to contact them through the Girl Scouts of Hwaii website at www.girlscouts-hawaii.org.

Help us support the Girl Scouts of Hawaii by buying cookies or treating yourself to one of our delicious desserts! You can see our full dessert menu by clicking here.
