Huggos New Cocktail Menu

Early this month, Huggo’s unveiled its new cocktail menu featuring old favorites making waves again among bar/lounge aficionados worldwide! They’re all hand-crafted to order and are inspired by people and places from far and near.

Among them, the Sidecar – it’s purportedly adapted from the Ritz Hotel Paris’ 1916 original and combines VSOP Cognac, Cointreau, Lemon Juice and House-made Gomme Syrup – and the Negroni, reported to be the direct descendent of Camilla Negroni’s delightful cocktail made famous at the Café Casoni in Florence in 1919. This drink is a simple and delicious mix of Dry Gin, Sweet Vermouth and Campari Other oldies but goodies now on offer at Huggo’s lounge are the Sazerac, adapted from Aaron Bird’s 1850 classic at

The Sazerac house in New Orleans – it’s a tantalizing blend of Rye Whiskey, Absinthe, Peychaud’s Bitters and House-made Gomme Syrup, and from Duncan Nichol of San Francisco circa 1893, Pisco Punch! It features Pisco Brandy with Fresh lemon Juice and House-made Pineapple Gomme Syrup. And, if you want more than just a touch of the tropics in your classics, no worries!

The Hemingway Daiquiri, adapted from Ernest Hemingway at El Floridita in 1930 Havana, leads a tempting list of “Tropical Classics”. This daiquiri combines Light Rum, Luxardo Maraschino, Grapefruit and Lime juices for a cool refresher.

We invite you to come in and choose your “new again” classic cocktails. Cheers!
