Blogging Aloha from Huggo’s in Kailua-Kona

Cheers & Aloha from Huggo's!

Follow us for a fun ride and updates on all the action in Kailua-Kona Bay and Kailua-Kona Village! Our landmark restaurant Huggo’s, celebrating more than 40 years of delivering ono cuisine with aloha, is strategically located directly on the waterfront in the heart of the village — we don’t miss much and we love to dish (“talk story” here in Hawaii). A little bit of this,  a little bit of that — all in fun, always a bit sassy and sometimes just a bit naughty!  Book early to catch our amazing West Hawaii sunsets, stay late to enjoy the live entertainment. Stay tuned, much more to come!

Another Perfect Sunset at Huggo's!

  • Hi Barbara we’re lookinig forward to seeing you then…festive season on the Big Island is always one of the very best times to visit!

  • I’ve aylwas heard that the locals on the smaller islands were not friendly towards non-natives. Is this true? And I love KONA coffee. I brought some back when I went to Hawaii a few years ago!

  • Thanks for writing…come visit us on Hawaii Island, often referred to the Big island. Hawaiians are among the most gracious, hospitable people on earth. Share your aloha and respect for their islands, their culture and you’ll receive the same back and more! We love our Kona coffee, too, and we’re ready to serve it up for you on your next visit! Aloha, all of us at Huggo’s

  • I atluacly have two questions:1) Do you have a favorite touristy’ spot to visit and if so, what/where is it?2) If I move there, how often do you think, on average, my inlaws will come and visit me?

  • Hi Hanan,
If you move to the Big Island, expect lots of visitors…including your in-laws! We have lots of favorite spots we can recommend to you when you visit — come by and see us at Huggo’s and/or Huggo’s on the Rocks and we’ll share them with you!
