Wine on the Lanai at Huggoʻs

Our popular “Wine on the Lanai” monthly wine pairing dinner returns to celebrate summer at Huggo’s, Kona’s iconic oceanfront restaurant. Huggo’s upcoming “Wine on the Lanai” on Thursday, June 28 will feature a 5-course interactive dinner, pairing wines from Sonoma California selected under the expertise of Pat Okubo, the youngest Master Sommelier in North America.

ImageHuggo’s Executive Chef Albert Asuncion 5-course seasonal menu includes a first course Amuse Bouche paired with an Angeline Sauvignon Blanc, Creamy Risotto-Chanterelle Mushrooms, Peas and Parmesan Cheese paired with a Sonoma Cutrer Chardonnay, Wild King Salmon and Avocado Tower paired with a Red Car Pinot Noir and followed with a Moroccan Spiced Rack of Lamb with Preserved Lemon Couscous complemented with a Trig Point Cabernet Sauvignon. The evening concludes with an Almond Florentine Cups with Wild Berries and a Late Harvest Sabayon and a Sonoma Cutrer Late Harvest Chardonnay.
